The Global Institute for Peace reconstruction is an evangelical initiative founded on the conviction that Jesus Christ is Lord over history, the nations, and every human conflict. We confess that Christ alone is the ultimate source of true peace, reconciliation, justice, and hope for Ukraine, the nations of the former Soviet Union, and the world.
Our mission is to teach individuals, churches, communities, and public leaders what Holy Scripture reveals about peace, reconciliation, justice, war, repentance, and the Kingdom of God, so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ may transform lives and strengthen communities.
The biblical concept of Shalom encompasses far more than the absence of war. It includes reconciliation with God, peace within the human heart, restored relationships, justice, mercy, and the flourishing of human life under God's purposes. Our theological project, Doctrine 300, seeks to study and systematize the many biblical passages concerning peace through careful evangelical scholarship. We do not claim that any document or institution can end wars by itself. Rather, we seek to equip the Church with a comprehensive biblical theology of peace that strengthens its witness and ministry of reconciliation.
